چکیده
Abstract Before COVID-19 infection caused the global pandemic in 2020, coronavirus diseases were mainly of veterinary interest. This necessitated development protective and therapeutic measures against spread SARS-CoV-2. Foods containing representatives genus Lactobacillus are an integral part daily menu Bulgarian people. Our hypothesis is based on studies examining its potential for competitive inhibition viruses bacteria by attachment to surface enterocytes. Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccination calendar Republic Bulgaria. In literature, many clinical show that administration BCG vaccine limits SARS-CoV-2 antigens and, consequently, able induce protection COVID-19, activating specific, innate immune system. The lack definitively approved treatment necessitates finding ways limit until final drug approval. We believe use dietary components context schedule coronavirus-related applicable. hypothesize may play a effect alone or combination healthy individuals.

The bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine is the only licensed vaccine for human use against tuberculosis (TB). Although controversy exists about its efficacy, the BCG vaccine is able to protect newborns and children against disseminated forms of TB, but fails to protect adults against active forms of TB. In the last few years, interest in the mucosal delivery route for the vaccine has been in...

Three peptides, D1 (amino acid residues 175-201), D2 (a.a. 434-467), and TM (a.a. 1128-1159), corresponding to the spike protein (S) of severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus (SARS CoV) were synthesized and their immunological functions were investigated in three different animals models (mice, guinea pigs, and rabbits). The peptides mixture formulated either with Freund's adjuvant or s...
متن کاملProtection by CD4 or CD8 T cells against pulmonary Mycobacterium bovis bacillus Calmette-Guérin infection.
Mice deficient in CD8 T cells demonstrated levels of Th1 cytokines and granulomatous responses in the lungs very similar to those demonstrated by normal control mice and were fully capable of controlling pulmonary mycobacterial infection by Mycobacterium bovis BCG as assessed at day 37 postinfection. In comparison, mice deficient in CD4 T cells had similar levels of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and t...
